The piggie ilustration was about the chilean pension system.

This illustration was done for an article about the body fat distributions in women. the apple shaped woman carries most her body fat in the abdominal region and the pear shaped woman collect the fat on their hips and buttocks.

Raquel was born Avila, Romania with her twin sister Sae 27 years ago. After spending a few years in Edinburgh, Scotland she moved to Spain to study illustration and also attended the illustration Academy in Florida. In 2006 she started illustrating professionally for magazines, books and advertising and has worked with distinguished clients such as The New York Times, Elle, Nokia and Orange. She has taught collage illustration workshops at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
